Day 1. Tallinn-Riga (approx. 310 km)
After arrival in Tallinn, the journey to Latvia’s capital city Riga begins along Via Baltica. On the way landscape varies from Estonia’s tall forests to the white sand dunes of the Baltic Sea. Before the border we stop in Häädemeeste - a place known for its mineral water. Our next stop before Riga is in Sigulda - a popular tourist city with a lot of historical and cultural monuments as Turaida Castle and the gravestone of Turaida Rose. The first night will be spent in Riga.
Day 2.
The day begins by getting acquainted with the city, both by bus and walking through the old city’s romantic alleys. Riga has got many German influences, including buildings from different eras. St.Peter Church tower offers a magnificent view. After the guided tour those who are interested have the possibility to visit the Baltic’s oldest historical maritime museum. Once again, spending the night in Riga.
Day 3. Riga - Vilnius (approx. 300 km)
After breakfast we begin our journey towards the Baltic’s 3rd state - Lithuania. On the way we visit Lithuania’s fifth largest city, Panevezys, divided by the river Nevezis. The city is one of Lithuania’s most important industrial cities. We continue to Vilnius where we have a guided city tour and spend the night.
Day 4. Vilnius - Trakai - Kaunas - Vilnius (approx. 200 km)
After breakfast we continue our tour to the west of Vilnius, where you find a lot of natural beauty spots and rolling hills. It is also possible to see storks. At Trakai there are still two castles from the 14th century. The place is known as the battle with crusanders. From Trakai we follow the seashore route to the second biggest town of Lithuania - Kaunas which acted as the capital after Lithuania restored its independence in 1918. Kaunas is the town of museums, there is something for everyone, for example the world’s only museum of “Devils and Dwarfs”. In the evening we return to Vilnius.
Day 5. Vilnius - Pärnu (approx. 480 km)
After breakfast we begin our return journey along Via Baltica, through Lithuania and Latvia to Estonia. The rest of the day is spent in Pärnu, which was once a famous Hansa city and is now known for its bathing houses and lively night life.
Day 6. Pärnu - Tallinn (approx. 130 km)
After breakfast we travel to our starting point - Tallinn. We have a city tour and free time before the departure.
